April 2017- New Veterinary Emergency Service Hours:
24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
It is with great pleasure and pride that we are announcing that SAVES will begin providing emergency services again all day, every day.
Small Animal Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (SAVES) is the second NH location in the IVG network of hospitals. SAVES provides emergency/critical care and internal medicine services to dogs and cats. Our hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate medical care to all of the pets entrusted to our care. Your pet is a part of your family, we understand and deeply respect the nature of your bond, and we strive to treat you and your pet with the utmost empathy.
In October 2014 SAVES joined the IVG network of hospitals, making it the second IVG hospital in New Hampshire, and became the fifth overall. The entire staff at SAVES is devoted to providing an environment that treats both you and your pet with respect and empathy.
Our skilled veterinary team is committed to maintaining regular and open lines of communication with yourselves – the pet owner – and your family veterinarian. We are proud to provide our clients with timely access to 24 hour emergency services every day. SAVES veterinary emergency hospital is never closed and patients are monitored 24 hours per day. At SAVES, you can rest assured that your pet is always in the reliable care of an experienced practitioner.
We understand and respect that your pet’s quality of life is about more than just his or her physical well being. As such we are glad to have Judy Coates, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners (CCRP) on site to provide physical therapy & rehabilitation to dogs and cats both as an in patient and an out patient service. Judy specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy with particular interests in manual therapy and bio-mechanics. She conducted research at the National Institutes of Health investigating the bio-mechanics of gait.
SAVES is fully equipped with sophisticated surgical facilities and diagnostic capabilities, including digital radiography and ultrasonography an in-house laboratory and easy access to IVG’s Veterinary Compounding Pharmacy.
Dogs and cats referred to SAVES by a referring veterinarian will be treated only for the condition for which they were referred. No routine procedures, such as vaccinations or heartworm testing, will be performed on any referral or referral emergency patient.
