PowerX Cruciate Repair Lateral Suture Wet Lab
Technique with PowerX Crimping System, this laboratory will be a complete exercise in the extracapsular repair of rupture of the cranial cruciate ligament in dogs. The lab will cover the lateral approach to the stifle, removal of the cruciate remnants, inspection of the medial meniscus, meniscal release and removal of the caudal horn of the medial meniscus, identification of the proper placement of the suture, application of a lateral suture using a precise crimping system (new PowerX Crimper) and critique of your repair.
