I can’t say enough about Dr. Amato and the staff at IVG MetroWest.Written by | Hospital: IVG MetroWest
Tucker was brought into IVG MetroWest with weight loss, lethargy and loss of appetite due to an intestinal ‘mass’. My biggest fear was cancer as I had, sadly, lost 2 other kitties that way.
Dr. Amato was amazing and I was very impressed with her knowledge and compassion. She kept him overnight for fluids and operated on him (anastomosis and resection) the next day and removed a rubber toy of some kind. The sample was sent for pathology as it looked abnormal. We were able to bring him home on Mother’s Day evening as only I could get him to eat and it was better to have him at home for his recovery.
He continued to recover over the next few days when Dr. Amato called. We were overjoyed to hear the news that there was no sign of cancer! I can’t say enough about Dr. Amato and the staff at IVG MetroWest.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of our beloved kitty.
