Dr Katie Sakakeeny graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and completed an internship at Tufts University the following year. Dr Sakakeeny completed a 3 year Emergency and Critical Residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in 2009 and was board certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in November 2009. Following completion of her residency she was employed as a criticalist at Tufts Veterinary Emergency & Treatment Specialists in Walpole, MA until 2010. Dr Sakakeeny joined IVG in the Fall of 2010.
