Dr. Kati Wrubel received her Bachelor’s degree in behavioral psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 1999 and her Ph.D. in behavioral neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. She completed postdoctoral studies at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine Animal Behavior Clinic in 2008.
Dr. Wrubel has expertise in animal learning, memory, psychopharmacology and canine aggression. She has volunteered in animal shelters and has experience fostering mixed breed rescue dogs. Dr. Wrubel enjoys working with owners and their pets. She likes educating owners about the effects of their pet’s past experiences and genetic background on behavior. Dr. Wrubel is energized by her ability to help resolve behavior issues by teaching people and pets positive-based behavior modification techniques. She joined InTown Veterinary Group in February 2009.
