Dr. Jay Volinski got his start in veterinary medicine during high school by working as an animal care technician at InTown’s Bulger Animal Hospital / Essex County Veterinary Referral Hospital. He went on to receive his BA in Neuroscience and Biochemistry from Bowdoin College in 2000. After three years working in the human biomedical research community at Harvard Medical School, he went on to receive his veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Volinski completed his internship at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, then re-joined InTown Veterinary Group in August, 2008. His interests include emergency/critical care medicine, small animal surgery, and exotics.
