Dr. Fiocchi received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College in 2004 and after working on environmental policy returned to school and ultimately receive a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr. Fiocchi completed her clinical year at Tufts University where she developed her interest in internal medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Fiocchi completed a small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT followed by a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. During her residency Dr. Fiocchi was trained in all aspects of internal medicine including hemodialysis and endoscopy. Dr. Fiocchi’s research focused on the management of patients with chronic kidney disease for which she received the resident research award in nephrology and urology at the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Forum in June 2016.

Dr. Fiocchi enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and has a particular interest in kidney disease, immune-mediated diseases and endocrine diseases. Dr. Fiocchi joined the IVG network in summer 2016 after completion of her residency.
