Services at Bulger Veterinary Hospital include veterinary wellness and routine care, 24 hour emergency/critical care and board certified specialty services and acupuncture. Our medical team is trained to provide care for dogs, cats, exotic pets (small mammals) and reptiles. We understand that your pet is a part of your family and we strive to treat you and your pet with the utmost empathy and respect for your relationship and bond.
Our veterinary team is committed to maintaining regular and open lines of communication with yourselves – the pet owner – and your family veterinarian if you have been referred to Bulger from another hospital. We are proud to provide all of our clients with timely access to advanced specialists and emergency services, as well as ongoing wellness and routine health care. At Bulger, you can rest assured that your pet is always in the reliable care of an experienced practitioner.
Advanced diagnostic capabilities and a skilled emergency veterinary team allow us to quickly identify problems and quickly initiate treatment. Our board-certified veterinary specialists provide a complete range of care in internal medicine, ophthalmology and surgery.
At Bulger we understand and respect that your pet’s quality of life is about more than just his or her physical well being. Alternative options to traditional medicine are available for pet owners seeking acupuncture for their pets; physical therapy & rehabilitation performed by Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners (CCRP) at our sister hospitals in Woburn and Portsmouth, is also available to aid in managing old age and long term conditions.
Bulger is equipped with sophisticated surgical facilities and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, including digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, Ocular Ultrasound, electrodiagnostics, in-house laboratory and pharmacy.
Patients referred to Bulger by a referring veterinarian will be treated only for the condition for which they were referred. No routine procedures, such as vaccinations or heartworm testing, will be performed on any referral or referral emergency patient.
